Legacy was founded in Preston in 2023 to do something simple and difficult: own the whole process, from finding a building to collecting its rent.
Our story
Built on experience, run from Winckley Square.
Our founder, Scott Young, spent years investing in property and developing buildings before founding Legacy. He saw how much value is lost when a project is passed between agents, contractors and managers who each own a small part of it.
Legacy brings those parts together. We acquire buildings across the North West, convert and refurbish them through Legacy Construction, our in-house build team, and let and manage them ourselves.
That control is what we offer our investors: a direct line to the people responsible for every decision, and buildings we know inside out because we built them.

Ross leads acquisitions, identifying and negotiating the buildings Legacy buys, drawing on a strong background in sales and negotiation.

With a background in accounting, HR and office management, Nic oversees operations and reporting, keeping every project and every investor update on track.
